DC Boat-Charter Concierge vs a Booking App
Booking a boat through an app or marketplace means browsing independent listings and coordinating the details yourself. Have Yachts Club works differently: we are a private boat-charter concierge. One team helps you pick the right boat, includes a USCG-licensed captain, sources a larger vessel when you need it, and plans your pickup — with a real person a phone call away. Here is how the concierge approach compares.
Private whole-boat charter · USCG captain included · BYOB-friendly · Book in minutes
Why Have Yachts Club
Have Yachts Club is a full-service private boat-charter concierge on the Potomac. We own and operate our signature Party Pontoon (from $400, up to 8 guests) with a USCG-licensed captain included, and our concierge can arrange a larger boat — a two-deck catamaran or a luxury yacht — for bigger groups on request. One team handles the boat, captain, timing and boarding, so you just show up and enjoy the water.
Booking an App vs Booking a Concierge
With a marketplace app you scroll through separate listings, compare them on your own, message owners individually and piece the day together yourself. With Have Yachts Club, one concierge team learns what your group needs, recommends the right boat, includes a USCG-licensed captain, and confirms your boarding and timing. It is the difference between doing the legwork alone and having a local team plan it with you.
One Team, From Quote to Dock
Because we own our signature Party Pontoon and arrange larger catamarans and luxury yachts through our concierge network, your entire charter runs through one point of contact. We match the boat to your headcount and occasion, coordinate the captain, and keep everything on schedule out of James Creek Marina — with Diamond Teague at Navy Yard as an alternate. If plans change, you call one number and reach a real person who knows your booking.
